Our Services

Construction is challenging but rewarding work. We are excited to serve our clients in a variety of ways to help them build the future.

Competitive
BID PROCESS

Owners or architects invite contractors to bid on complete designs and specifications for a lump sum contract price to complete the entire project.

how it works

1//

Invitation

The first step involves us collecting all necessary information for an accurate bid, including a full set of drawings, closing date for tender and any restrictions specific to the project and job site.

2//

estimate

Our experienced estimators price out the entire project, including all materials and sub trades. This price is guaranteed based on the drawings. Bonding is available.

3//

contract

If our bid is chosen, we then enter into a contract. This activates our management of the project and necessary trades by ordering materials, approving shop drawings, and sorting out all the details.

4//

build

When all of the design and construction drawings are complete, the project can begin on the date set by the client. We work to finish the project to the specifications in the contract and by the date given.

Communication is vital to every build. Our design and build process ensures that no detail is left forgotten as the same team works on your project from start to finish. Our experience in the industry simplifies and speeds the design process, ensuring you have the latest information on trends, materials and processes.

vision

Design is a collaborative process, involving the proper communication of needs, wants and possibilities. In this stage we offer our advice and years of experience in the industry, while also listening, to help clients solidify their vision. This can involve discussions and on-site meetings.

design

In the design phase, our contracted architects and engineers work with you to develop a site plan and full set of construction drawings. We will also walk the project through the necessary permit and planning processes. A preliminary project budget is also set based on scope and the current market.

pre-build

To ensure key milestones are met and there are no surprises, we review, assess, and outline a construction execution plan, flagging any potential complications. Through a competitive bid process, we also finalize our sub-contractors, allowing us to create an accurate construction budget.

4//

build

Throughout the job, our team coordinates and manages the project on behalf of the owner, all the while updating budgets, monitoring safety, scheduling, maintaining quality control.

5//

finish

Finally, we perform site inspections, complete deficiencies, and submit all final close-out documents including operation and maintenance manuals and warranties. The project is now ready for use!

Construction
Management

This service is ideal for clients with a clear vision and existing construction drawings. We can also work closely with your chosen architects to ensure all parts of the design are achievable and cost effective before the build begins.

Currently we are working with Duomax on Phase 2 of renovations and an addition to Guido de Bres Christian high school in Hamilton.
